Anyone near Chino, CA? 1972 knowledge a big plus.
Hi all -
Is anyone on here located near Chino, CA? I'm considering a '72 Supreme located there and I am supposed to look at it at the end of May when I'm in San Diego for work. I'd sure like to get eyes on it sooner since other buy/sell decisions hinge on whether I'm going to be interested or not. It was a low mileage, rust free car to start with but I'm not loving the initial pics of the restoration. I need to find out if it's well done overall but lacked attention to detail around hardware, etc. or if the paint, etc. isn't great for the price range. The owner is a long-time Pomona-based racer and hot rod guy but not an Olds specialist, so he wasn't up on whether it was the original QJet or distributor, etc. and all those things I'd want to know on a rare car. I'd be happy to comp someone to go have fun looking at a car and taking pics for 90 minutes on a weekend if the owner is cool with that.
Thanks -
Terry
