Cheers, Dan! I'm in Watford, but I left my Olds in my little brother's garage in Missouri. That '65 88 must be a handful at speed on a roundabout!! (I still seem to always be in the wrong lane going into these wretched things...)

That's funny, i was driving through Watford last week. Leavesden park to be exact!

Yeah she's a bit boaty around the bends but people tend to steer well clear if they see me in time.

To say the car stands out like a ***** in a fanny factory is an understatement.

What kind of information are you looking for?

When I go web browsing, I notice there are quite a few places that do specialty restoration work accross the pond. Getting parts from anywhere is going to be a major pain in the **** just because of shipping.

Do either one of you guys have a right hand drive car? I've heard from our Olds friends down-under that right hand drive US cars can be found from time to time. It must be great having an Olds across the pond. When I was in Germany I saw very few US cars. In fact, I don't think I ever saw an Olds.

Anything i can get really!
I'm new to the Olds scene and there aren't that many here in UK so my information source is the Web.

I was hoping to find a fellow Olds owner from the UK that could point me in the direction of somewhere based here that has good experience with these cars and perhaps holds some parts in stock.

It's all Fords and Chevvy's over here!!!!

Mines a leftie.
It's great... they're SO much bigger than even our larger sized cars it's quite amusing!

I'm not overly popular with my neighbours at the moment though as i have this plus a motorhome parked in the street, taking up 3 parking spaces!!

Talking

You guys can get lots of help here. We have helped people in UK already. We can help you with companies that are user friendly for shipping. Just lets us know what you need and we will help you out.

I was in England for a month a couple of years ago anf my wife drove all over Egnland, Scottland and wales in a little Mercedes van I if had not been for a the look left signs every were. I would have totaled that van.
We always stayed in bed and breakfast places. and had a wondertime. I'll be back and will let you know I am comming and we can meet and talk Olds to our hearts content.

Pat
