Any tree specialist in readerland??

I trimmed a few branches on the tree in my front yard. Probably should have don’t it last fall, slipped my mind. The branches would rub the house when it gets really windy.

Anyway, the point to this thread is there are black spots on many of the leaves. The tree appears healthy to me (I haven’t heard the tree complain, how do you take the temperature of a tree&#128527 I don’t see any dead branches, there are no bare spots, and lots of leaves. I really hope this isn’t bad news, I like the shade this tree provides.

What kind of tree? Can you post a picture of the spots? I have a plant nursery with a little more info I should be able to help.

I thought you were talking about a drag tree.

Fungus, (black spot) I used to have maple trees and rose bushes that would get it from time to time. Neem oil would probably work on a smaller tree, but if it's a large tree, it would be a chore. https://blog.davey.com/2017/08/why-a...-maple-leaves/

I could use all the help with that!!! In my almost 30 years of racing, I have gotten 2 perfect lights. First time was probably 20 years ago, I was staged, waiting for the tree to come down when my pager (remember those?) went off. I don’t know if that made me jump, but a perfect light. Of course, it was test and tune. 😡.
