Thanks. I am still waiting on my copy. This was done nearly 1.5 years ago, just after I got the car done. I sure didn't expect it to be on the cover. I was at the AACA Auburn show and West come up to me right away and asked if we could do this for the magazine. He took great pictures!

I have been told by many people that have their copy but I don't have mine yet. I did know it was coming out this month. It is the AACA club magazine. Like the JWO for Oldsmobile.

The front cover photo had some interesting competition. Eric's Jetfire, a 1959 DeSoto, a 1911 Alpena Flyer, and a Campbell-bodied 1946 Ford truck-based station wagon. Yet that little maroon Oldsmobile took front cover honors. Hell yeah!😏

Maybe to much. I do like the Jetfire model in general being exposed to new groups of car people that have never heard of them but the ones that follow Oldsmobile are likely tired of it.

Hot Rod magazine 2 times
Barn finds and hidden gems book
automotive archaeologist Ryan Brutt you tube video of it coming out of the garage it was stored in for 41 years
Uncle Tony's Garage you tube channel
Leno's Garage, you tube
JWO this month
Antique Automobile this month
A couple other museum newsletters and local You Tube channels

Disagree. Y'all have heard me say before that it's criminal the number of "Oldsmobile people" who have never heard of a Jetfire or who, worse, dismiss it because it's not what they consider an Oldsmobile performance car.

This was one of the most technologically advanced cars in the world when it was built.

Much like the Toronado and the Diesel, it unfortunately was sold to a lot of people who had no damn business owning one. The kind of people who don't understand basic maintenance of a car or other machinery.

Funny that you say this because in my time with these cars, I find a LARGE number of them were bought by single women and for wives to drive. My wifes car was bought new by a single lady and never married. My 4 speed car was the original owners wife's car. There are many others I have found to be the same story. My wife fell in love with them and is how I got into them. Must be some sort of appeal to women? The ones with high miles and comes with a story are typically man driven from what I find.

It has been on the market for several years. I don't comment on that one to much if you know what I mean.
