Ami missing something with inline tube 🤷🏻‍♂️

Trying to order a complete power drum brake line kit . I’m up in Canada so shipping to here is actually ridiculous.. so anyways went to their website and tossed the kit In the cart then went to checkout 😳 139 bucks for the kit and 103 to ship it !!!! This is in American funds . So didn’t finish the purchase .
then decided to hit evil bay to see what was available and low and behold found inlines store there ..
kit was 159 and shipping was 23 bucks … what is with that ?
are they good to deal with in the states ?
guess I will call them tomorrow but kinda ground my gears for a bit

I've purchased a lot from ILT, all of it on eBay (Motercitysupercars) their Oldsmobile parts store on eBay
they are pretty good but every once in a while, they will send a wrong part
use eBay seller contact Tool to resolve issues
they would always send the correct part and tell you to keep the wrong one
I have a few parts that I should offer up on here for someone who could use them. LOL

Shipping right now is insane cost wise. Atleast for me shipping parts to buyers when I sell stuff.

There are 3 family-related companies: Inline Tube, Motorcitymusclecars and Motorcitysupercars. All on the bay. I’ve had mixed results. If you try to resolve a problem and can’t, then leave negative feedback, they will ban you from buying from them. I have found their prices may be cheaper on the bay than direct from Inline Tube.

I've found you have to price check Inline's website and the eBay stores to determine the best price between them all. Usually prices on their eBay stores ship free. There may be exceptions to this for some locations/items and for those outside US boundaries. I too have found their website to charge crazy prices for shipping state side.

For those that ship often, you pay less if you print labels at home rather than use the counter at the post office. One receives a discount if using Multi-Order Shipping at PayPal. Now when you click on Multi-Order Shipping it directs you to another website, but it still gives one a discount on shipping compared to retail prices at the US Post Office counter.

Plus if one has a UPS account setup they offer discounts quite often off the regular price. I've not found FedEx to discount their prices.

Just my 2-cents.

Things may get a lot worse. They're suppose to ban unvaccinated truck drivers from crossing the borders. Add to that protests and roadblocks. Not looking good.
