AGM Battery Charging

Is it ok to use a 10/2 amp lead acid type battery charger on an AGM battery? Battery would be out of the car and likely just need to be topped-up.

Thanks!

I've used it on two of my batteries on several occasions - a couple times on my motorcycle and a couple times on my zero-turn JD mower with no issues.

That charger's fine for an occasional top-up on an AGM. But for longer-term or maintenance charging, higher voltage is required during the absorption phase, usually about 14.7 V. Otherwise the battery life is shortened.

The manufacturer will have the exact details for your battery.
