the 260 and the 307 all shared the same balancer according to my catalog - which may or maynot suck (the catalog, not the motor, well....ok perhaps the motor too)

anyways, they are iron pressed on the hub with super rubber but I do not think of a design where the counterweight moves much at all with vibrations, such as found on a diesel flywheel etc. more like a boat prop setup.

anyways, it appears from your post that you want the little plastic tab that bolts drivers side, down low thru the timing cover face and water pump with the degrees on it?

I so far have found no online parts source....not saying it does not exists, just not yet.

adding: gm part 419048 - discontinued, fits every damn olds iron v8 but the 307....figures

My computer parts system shows PN:550411 for an 84 Buick LeSabre w/ 307 engine... Fits 82 thru 90...
My inventory shows 3 in my NOS stock... I will have to check to be certain and physically put my hands on it... My price will be $25 plus S/H...
There's no doubt you can find one in a salvage yard, possibly for a lot less money since the tab fits 82 thru 90 full size Buick & Olds with the 307, as well as any G-Body w/ a 307...
