73 cowl tag decoding

3 = Oldsmobile division
AJ = Cutlass Supreme (the car's VIN will have just a J in it to indicate this)
57 = coupe body style
LAN = Lansing assembly plant
604706 = body unit number
29 = lower body color - "eclipse blue poly"
A = upper body color - white
957 = "trim combination number," I believe this code indicates a white interior. Not sure about the seat type.
The other codes (A51 B84 D55) I don't know, but someone else probably will.
Are you sure the "78" is that, or is it "7B." It's always best to post a clear photo of the cowl tag because codes are often misread.
If 7B, that would indicate the time-built code, second week (B) of July (7) 1973. This car was built late in the model year.
