Just getting the 72 Cutlass back together.
Paint went well and I can't find a template for the emblems.
I'm mostly concerned with O-L-D-S-M-O-B-I-L-E letters on the trunk.
Help,advice or criticism is appreciated.

It makes sense that panel piercings are not available. Those were stamping department die designs. Each panel goes from a coil, to a blank, to a panel. The blank goes through the press, and, at a minimum, gets hit twice. The draw die does most of the work, and the second die, I think it is trim, trims the "handles" the first die used. Some stop there, but there are also piercing dies for holes, and flange dies to do weird sideways things. Nowadays, all emblems and text are glued on with 3M double sided wonder tape. They load the emblem in a jig and it datums to the nearest edge and on it goes.
