I am having trouble finding the driver side door lock pawl for my 71 CutlassSupreme. It is the part that connects the door lock to the rod that unlocks thedoor when you use your key. The only place I have found that sells them isYearOne and I have been waiting for over a month to get them because they areon backorder. Is there any other GM model car that uses the same door lock pawlthat I can use instead of waiting until I receive the backorder part that mayshow up in this lifetime?

I'm sure there's several of us who have good used ones. I'd encourage you to create a parts wanted thread including your location or nearest large city/state/province. Who knows, there may be someone within driving distance who has the parts!

Whoops! I see you do have your city/state listed. Scott (oldspackrat) or Eric (jensenracing77) are both in Indiana and likely have this part.
