I hope someone familiar with the factory body mounts can answer a couple of questions for me. My originals are MIA and it was temporarily reassembled with a set that aren’t accurate enough for me. As I’m about to put the body back on the frame for good, I need to know if it originally had 4 mounts with bolts and 2 cushions (no bolt) or 5 mounts with bolts and 1 cushion? The service manual shows 5 bolts in the #2, #3, #4, #6 and #7 position. Thornton’s kit ... and many others show 4 mounts with bolts. Also, Thornton’s kit says their mounts are molded with the washer, eliminating the need for a washer “like the factory made them”. The service manual clearly illustrates and names a washer. I really appreciate sharing any expertise!
