Restoring a 1970 442 and want to replace body mounts exactly the way I found. I can't seem to find the right kit with the correct number of mounts. When I took body off the frame the core support was already separated so I am just talking about the body from torque boxes rearward. I saved what I removed for reference and this is what I have: 6 mounts for attaching bolts and 6 solid.
Can any of you concur? The kit ILT sells says its for 70 442/w-30 but it doesn't look correct as far as quantities of each? The ILT kit only has 2 solid mounts and the rest are for a bolt to go through.
Some spots along side rails got solid mounts as I can remember along with inner part of frame in front of gas tank. I can't find any depiction in ASM or CSM as to what goes where. The ILT kit will work but seems to put bolts where solid mounts should go. What do you guys think?
