'70 W30 - RED w/ WHITE stripes.........

The one in the later picture appears to have white interior... did yours get a color swap at some point?

curious as to how the stripe color on your car was documented? I'm still trying to find a stripe color from a build sheet I have in the #44 'color" box on the sheet. It gives the car color code then the top code and under "st" which I assume means stripe it shows DGOX

The stripe colour on this car is documented by GM Canada - Vintage Vehicle Services.
You can make a request by phone or email by using the VIN of the vehicle.
In return, they will send all the information pertaining to the VIN (car) - including colour, interior, stripes, options, production date, shipping date and original selling dealer.
This GM Canada VVS paperwork is ONLY available to cars originally sold new or built in Canada.

stripes
On my GM of Canada doc it states stripe colour 75 Matador Red.
I do not know what DGOX means on your card.
On my PPG 1970 Olds paint chart, here is striping colors info:
A,B BLACK 9000
C,A WHITE 8631
D,C BLUE 14022
G,H Gold 23197
R RED 2089
Noticed on a RM 1971 Olds paint chart, no Red stripe color, but has a Green for that year.
On another note, I now do not believe that W30 drag car is my car. Think the SS/IA class means an auto car & mine is a 4 speed. Also may have a white interior while mine is black

Here's the problem with GM of Canada docs - at least what I've noticed in the past:
When it comes to stripe color, they attribute a proper name to it. In this case, it says "Matador" Red.
However, Oldsmobile never gave the stripes proper names. And if you look at the paint formulas for Matador Red and the red stripe color, they are two different colors.

I agree with you about the stripe colour "names" that GM Canada paperwork uses at times.
However, the GM Canada VVS information is bullet-proof documentation when confirming options - especially the W options

Stripe
From the many Canadian docs that I have seen, some have a name & some have just the colour.
In my case, I gave the painter only the mix number, not the name.
Using my paint chip chart, It looks the same as Matador Red to me.

I have a copy of a build sheet for a '70 Cutlass from Framingham. The four color fields are 48 48 10 48. The car has XT wheels, so the wheels are indeed supposed to be the same color as the lower body. 10 is white stripes, of course.
Cars without stripes had that field in box 44 left blank or filled with dashes.
Another place I've seen stripe color documented is on the Car Shipping Order. For my own '70 W-30, down at the bottom on the "COLOR" line, it starts with "H" for gold stripes, then it says "EBONY BLACK" then "1919" then "30" for trim. I don't know if Window stickers have the stripe color, too.
