If it has PB, AC, it's not a W31. Does it have the OAI hood, rear sway bar, and boxed lower rear control arms?

Many more non W cars came from Lansing than W cars. A 4spd bench in a Cutlass is sorta rare but they are out there. You need to see if it is original or converted over to manual trans. No it is not really rare and probably not a W31 but surely it should be checked into.

if you post pics of motor compartment that will help far deciphering it is a legit w-31 or not.
Couldn't tell you if the car is rare assuming its just a 4 speed cutlass as best to my knowledge there is no break down of how many cutlasses came w auto's or stick's in 70.
However do know there were less made than automatics .

A 4-speed 350 Cutlass S is a regular car that's quite rare but not valuable. It's like a Rallye 350 without the trim, assuming you have a 350-4. I'd be willing to bet you could get a 4-speed behind a 350-2 as well.

I'll point out that if you have to ask if the car is a W-31, it most likely isn't. There are VERY few sellers out there who don't know what a real one is worth, and the price you paid would have reflected that.
