69 reproduction 442 bumpers?

I have seen quite a few 69 442 rear bumpers with cutouts for sale listed as NEW are they repopping these things now and anybody know the quality? I have 2 cores, but the price they are asking is certainly right.

I know they are now as Fusick is carrying them and so is BAP. I would go with Fusick as their stuff always seems to fit and work right...personal experience only. I'm going to need one as well and a repop for my purposes of cruising and having fun works perfect. Not sure if for show would do but give Fusick a call and let us know if you go that route. Cheers.

hmmm ok, frankly I have seen them at several shops, I really need to go by price as I have seen a large variance as much as 100+ dollars... there is NO way there is more than 1 MFG, so it will be like when I decided to go with GM restoration parts quarters that I thought would be American made, everybody sells the same ones except the place in michigan that makes there own... will let you know what I decide though, I will hang onto one of my cores, but really the rechroming and straightening will cost a bundle I think...

well pulled the trigger....

I purchased the bumper from these guys

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/69-Cu...item2eb76781f0

they were almost a hundred cheaper then everyone else, he's in Maryland but the part ships from texas, I'll keep you guys updated when it arrives. as I said I felt a little ripped off when I got the goodmark rear quarters as i thought they were made here, ( I am not complaining about the guy I bought them from, just I bought goodmark specifically) just to find out they are the same as anybody elses....

well I want to keep you fellas updated, I bought the bumper with a buy it now, but I could have ordered it, but since I don't know these guys, I felt safer through fleabay, anyway, I bought it and was pleasantly surprized it shipped the same day, I have a tracking number from fedex, and it will be delivered by the end of the week, business as it should be for my part. will keep you posted, but so far so good.

Ive seen one in person. If you have none and or want the 442 Bumper up-date, there great. They are not exactly in the same quality as the originals, and of course that is to be expected. If on the other hand you have originals, I'd just have them rechromed.
