This car has been discussed at length in the past. Its a really nice car. Some people claimed to know the car and it had no paperwork. Interesting that the guy had it for sale shortly after the magazine came out but had no mention of the accolades it just received. Seemed like a marketing mistep.

Anyone notice the view of the steering column just before it goes through the fire wall? Looks like the car had a column shifted auto or 3 on the tree? Its now a 4 on the floor....Hummm.

I know that car pretty well. A very close friend owned it and I helped him get it sold to a fellow with whom I trade muscle cars. I had the opportunity to own it, but I already have one and wanted to keep focused on my '72 442. So, I kinda helped that owner along with his sale of it to the current owner. The current owner and I have gotten to be "pen pals and phone pals" and he has some AWESOME cars---he chimes in here from time to time. I figured that car would come up for sale again, and this time will probably sell for some good money. The current owner ( I don't really want to do any name dropping) knows how to promote and market a sale to achieve the best results---- the sales I was involved in were more-or-less "wholesale---cash-out" type deals where owners were more interested in turning money rather than selling for a profit. "Somtimes you gotta sell this one to get the next one"..... until next time..... Dave.
