69 Cutlass Project

Here's my gal. The Idea I have is a 442/HO cross. The W35 wing will go on the trunk with an H/O stripe. The hood will get 442 stripes and the side will have a modified H/O highlite with a 4" rocker stripe but the top stripe will follow the quarter molding on top only to the quater panel rise where it will run straight out to a point about mis panel. the Stage II wheels will get the same Code 52 Nassua Blue treatment. Dont get all excited, it will be a good while before I'm done. All this is on a shoestring and only out of pocket, but I owe nothing on the car so it will be drive worthy and I can afford to pour premium fuel into that L-74 Olds Plant without making payments to the bank.......I'll post a few along as I go.

Brent

Body on resto. Top and interior. The car had been in storage over 20 years, was ordered by an Olds dealer as a showroom model so the running gear is all but new with less than 100k on it. Compression on engine was well within factory specs. Floor in car and trunk are rust free

After the wife told me I need to stop Googling for a few days, I admit defeat. What am I looking for? 69 442 hood stripe widths. See, I had banked in my failing brain a site called www.69Olds.com. There were details on that site that gave me a sense of security, and we all know that the internet is the greatest tool in modern history so what was there to worry about? Ahhhhh..........The site dont come up no more! My warm and fuzzy feeling of security has been dashed. Does anyone have the correct factory measurements for the (W-42?) stripes? My wife appreciates your help.
