I thought so too initially but there isn't too much left. It broke it half when they pulled it up. They cut the top off and I don't know if they saved the glass in doing so. Maybe the grille would be good. All the metal looks eat up. I read subsequent news articles that the boy worked part time at a grocery store and only bought the Camaro six days prior to sinking it. The boy's mother died in 2010 and his brother died 9 hours before the car was found!!!!

Updated article on the mishap. They have since said the cars were very close together. The 52 Chevy came out rear end first but the photos of the Camaro show it coming out front end first which makes me think the Camaro backed into the lake. Some articles are now saying the 52 Chevy disappeared in April of 1969 as opposed to other reports of the early 60s. There seems to be no disputing the Camaro disappearing November of 1970.
