68-72 Supremes ?

And here's a bit of trivia (yeah, this should be in the other thread... )
What was the first year that the G-body designation was used?
Wrong.
It was 1969 with the release of the Grand Prix, followed in 1970 with the Monte Carlo and notchback Cutlass Supreme. Interestingly, the Monte and GP used a unique 115" wheelbase , but the Cutlass Supreme used the same 112" wheelbase as all other 2dr Cutlii. Check the distance from the back of the front wheel opening to the front of the door on the next Monte you see and compare it to that of any other A-body. Also, the G-body designation was used interchangeably with the "A-special" designation.
For those who are surprised by this, consider the following. The A, B, C, and D body designations existed from the 1950s. The next in line was the E-body, which was used in 1963 with the Riviera. The F-body came out in 1967. The G-body in 1969, and the H-body (Vega) in 1971.
