FE2 option available on Cutlass Supremes?

Just wondering if the FE2 option (rear boxed lower control arms, frame braces, rear sway bar, larger front sway bar?, etc.) was available as an option on the 1972 Cutlass Supreme. tx

Is this correct for the FE2 option? If so, was the upper rear control arm any different than the standard one?
  • Heavy-Duty Front and Rear Springs
  • Heavy-Duty Front and Rear Stabilizer Bars
  • Heavy-Duty Front and Rear Shock Absorbers
  • Heavy-Duty Rear-Suspension Control Arms
  • Frame Braces

Yes it was. I've owned at least five '72 Supremes that had the boxed arms/sway bar, and three of those had build sheets and/or window stickers showing it as an option line item.

Thx.

Do you recall if the rear upper control arms were any 'beefier' than stock ones?

They are the same open upper arms that are used with non-boxed lower arms.
