68-72 A-Body Convertible Shoulder Belts

I need some info or pictures/diagrams that show the 68-72 A-Body convertible shoulder belts. I think the mount/attach @ the convertible top mechanism mounting area. I have a friend who wants to put a set in his car but doesn't have a clue. He would probably buy a complete set with the mounting hardware if anybody has a set for sale. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Mike

Hopefully, the links below will work. I was recently looking for the same info for my GTO and found these threads that were helpful. The first thread has pics of a 69 442 with the shoulder belts option.

I put in a standard non-retractable 3 point belt instead of the original shoulder straps, original lap belts were missing aniway in my case.

The shoulder strap attaches behind the rear quarter panel on the convertible top hinge support.

You will find detailed information in the Fisher Body Manual Section 15. On the 1969 Manual, illustration is on Page 15-89.

What application were these belts? I'm not familiar with "standard non-retractable 3 point belt" as I have only seen retractable ones.

I don't know for sure which application they are. I remember some old VW Transporter which had those.

I bought this one, but there are a lot for sale out there:

They are not as nice to use as the original ones but a lot easier to get.
