67 Toronado 425 won't start

Wrong type towel?

We can see the rotor spinning the wrong direction... for a Chevy.

Why won't it run?

It's just for amusement.

Blows the towel off. This engine sat for a LONG time and getting it to run was a key factor in whether the thing stayed a car or got parted out...

Because there are no spark plugs in it at the moment?

At least you're having fun with compressed air. Looks like you could use it to build an air hockey table.

No, it's a gasoline carbureted engine

The towel was because the owner had applied liberal amounts of oil and whatnot in the cylinders.
