I'm going to have a look-see at this '64 4-4-2. Anyone know it, or have thoughts beyond these?

- Dealer says he bought at an auction in NY state; explains the World's Fair plate
- No original paperwork
- Rivetless VIN tag is scary, to say the least
- Trim tag
- Looks like it was hit with a sanding block
- Build week of 03A is OK for a '64 4-4-2
- L-L is Regal Mist Polychromatic, so it's painted the factory color
- Has the 2L for the shifter hole
- Air cleaner looks correct
- Trunk looks gray (spatter), not body color
- No underside photos
I'd say the front fender was a repaint without buffing it out. I'm not a 64 expert but I don't remember the Olds Muncie shifter having the straight stick. I do know the Chevys of that era had both types. Looks like a quick refurb and sell to me. They are hard to verify. Are there holes in the frunk lid where the 442 emblem attaching hardware were drilled? There should be a paint mark inside the passenger fender with "b 09". Hard to see sometimes behind the inner fender.
