Have you tried USA Parts? They list them on page 57 of their last catalog. They require a core deposit but should get you back on the road. I believe 371 and 324 front mounts are built the same, same bolt pattern, but are taller, you might modify them if they are more available for you, Just a few thoughts....Tedd

The 61-64 cars with the 394 should all use the same mounts. Steele Rubber will revulancize your old ones. If USA Parts requires a core, then they are doing the same thing. I'll bet they are just getting theirs from Steele anyway.

Check the mounts close. They may be good.

A bad transmission damper plate will cause the same symptoms as bad motor mounts on these cars.

Though I hope it's motor mounts. The damper plates are near impossible to find.

Made where and by who? If it's chinesium, not interested. I'm lucky enough to have three NOS dampers and a couple good used ones, so I should be in good shape if one goes out.

I quit ebay when they forced that paypal **** on us, so acquiring one there is a moot point for me anyway.

I would have thought by now u knew where to buy damper plates. Just go to www.fatsco.com they manufacture them and have been producing them for years in house, including almost anything you'll need for any Roto 10 and slim jims as these trannys were used in a lot of Military Equip., such as Personnel Carriers. I think they are around the New Jersey area.

Yep, that's who sells on ebay. I bought a new one from them (yet to be installed) cheaper than a "reman" out of Ca. Gotta laugh about the chineseum thing. I doubt it's worth it for the 50-100 per year they sell to bother importing them from somewhere, but who knows, all things are possible.

Not seeing dampers on the Fatsco website- only kits and order forms. If they make them, great.

Trust us' they make them Just give them call to confirm or better still I'll pull my Motor and Tranny and separate them and you can come over and look for yourself. The proof is in the pudding. (Just an ol' saying)
