When I got my 55 Olds 2 DR HT its rear window and trim had been removed. I have been trying to figure out how the lower rear reveal pieces are supposed to be attached to the frame. There are holes in the lower frame where it appears nuts and bolts were attached but I can't find any references to the proper installation of the lower two piece reveal. Anyone experienced with the rear window install and reveal attachment process? I did find some loose nut and bolt assy in the trunk area but not sure if they are what was used to attach the inner reveal. I have attached a pic of what they looked like.

 

I have no idea on a fix for your problem (my 55 is a convertible) but if you take it to your local auto glass shop most are happy to give you 101 on glass trim replacement.....Tedd
