455 radiator
455 radiator
IM getting ready to do the 350 to 455 engine swap. I have a 2 core radiator in the car right now and probable should upgrade. Will a 4 core fit in the 2 cores place or will I have to swap out the core support?

That model stock should have came with a 3 core.
All Cutlassas in and around that year w/455's had
4 cores. At least of what I have seen, if it had heavy
duty cooling, w/air. We just don't see a lot of cars down
here in Texas without air from back in the day. I have heard
of guys speading the saddles to get them to fit, but I believe
they are spot welded to the core support at the bottom and also
the cap on top as well.

It looks like I have a 2 core in it now, Car does have AC, I looked in the filler neck and counted 2 row of cores. Some one probably swapped it out. Do you know of an aftermarket that would be a direct bolt in?
I think John, 2blu442 may have some extras
that would work for you. You also may try
Scott, oldspackrat. These guys would have
oem radiators.
