4 weeks until my Russo Steele sale Scottsdale 2016

I'm just putting it out there , that I will be on site . Will load in by Tuesday the 26th of Jan. This weekend there is a R - S preview night @ the Pavillions in Scottsdale . There are just a bunch of collector cars in Phoenix for the 5 different auctions .
I know of at least 2 out state board members attending both Barrett and Russo , so it is at least a fun show and sale . My car will be selling either Fri - the 29th or 30th . One of THE feature 442's in the World should be offered on Sat. the 30th . Lot # 5094 . 1970 Oldsmobile , 442 , 442 " Survivor " Convert 4 speed . If there is another like it ( verified survivor ) it has yet to be unearthed . We get to see how collectors value originality - should be interesting .
My car is lot # 5018 , 4th page in featured cars online catalog . It now has a perfect set of Wire Wheel covers , and is as nice as I can make it ... I'm going in at no reserve , so my car will sell .. This will be interesting .
Cheers , JT

1 missing info. piece

Lot # 5094 .. The 1970 Red 4spd , Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 , is also a W - 30 .
THAT is what really makes this particular car like nothing else in our world .
Verified by Steve Minore and owner verified to original . Presented precisely as it should be . J2

Hoping you do very well. I know your car is extremely nice. I just hope you get enough to cover your costs. You did not spare anything on it and it shows.

Larry , thanks for ALL of your help , and specifically the 6 O.E. pieces and parts you have sold me . I could not believe how many hands it took to install the emergency brake red globe , 2 piece housing , and spring load piece . Side note , it took 3 hands . For anyone looking , Lemonoldsnut , Rroth , WR1970 , and RuntoRund , have all supplied me with exceptional O.E. pieces . All great to deal with .
fleming442 , thanks for the good wishes . Your red 1967 442 , looks extremely
nice . Fortunately , my sale will only alter the momentary weight of 67 Cutlass Supreme , 442's , W / auto - A.C. - buckets , console , and 1 previous owner . Thankfully , there are not many of these occurrences .

Jim,

Hope to meet you there as well, I have heard the "Pavillians" are the place to be Saturday.

Yeah, typically there's a lot of cars and people, but around auction time it gets way, way too crowded for my liking, so I stay away.

I've been hitting the Pavillions for years, both the week prior as well as week of the auctions. It's insane, guys start parking their cars at 2.00 and 3.00 am to secure parking spots. Over 1,000 cars come and go throughout the day. All different types of Kool cars to be seen.

StickW31 , Steve - Definitely looking forward to meeting up with you .
It is always fun around Scottsdale for those 2 weeks . I like the Saturday before ( 23rd ) Pavillions show . Everything seems fresher .
Additionally , between all of the activities at several venues , you will never run out things to see and do . PM me anytime , and we can share information . Safe travels , and stay in touch .. JT
