Special Olds at Russo and Steele

A barebones Holiday Sedan, floorshift, QV 350 and built 12D- week after Christmas shutdown. Owning a 12C Toronado that had a LOT of "weirdness" might also explain this car.
Would almost have to have been special ordered by someone with a trailer.

Those 4 dr. hardtop A body were a b***h to align the windows to eliminate water leaks and wind noise! Warranty for adjusting the windows for those body styles was out of sight in labor hours. If you adjust one the other on the same side had to be done. It wasn't uncommon for a dealer to submit warranty claims for adjusting all 4 windows and the car hasn't even been sold yet.
That car has got to be a customer ordered car.

At the risk of sounding "unsportsmanlike", that would be a great car to buy for parts. Probably is an anti-spin and has F41. Any chance of a look at the speedo.? Law enforcement order? Neat dash, booster looks real good, too.

Forgive my ignorance but isn't the positive cable supposed to be runnin along the valve cover and then dropping down the tube at the back of the head or was that reserved for BB 4 speeds only?

Huh.... man thats weird my car had (has) the tube for the battery cable? It was a350 2 bbl 4 speed car plusba lot of other odd ball things for a cutlass s convertible..
I am sure I missed it but isthe 4 speed documented?

I'm hearing too much "it's a four-door and it's not really what I like so all it's good for is parting it for a 2-door build". Looks like a whole lot of fun and distinction for cheap money to me.
Y'all never cease to amaze me. A nice car is a nice car no matter it's brand, body style or equipment and four-speed is icing on the cake with this one.

So to recap:
1. 68-69 Cutlass small block cars got the positive cable routed along the drivers wheel well and then through the horizontal tube regardless of the transmission configuration.
2. 68-69 BB 400, 442 had the distinction of the pos cable either routed along the drivers side wheel well through the horizontal tube for TH400s. Or along the intake side of the drivers side valve cover feeding through a vertical tube attached the the rear of the drivers side head.

And if it wasn't confusing enough a 400 SMT A/C is slightly different than non-A/C:
