350 to 455 engine swap

Hello to all you OLDS lovers out there.I just put a 455 olds in a 71 supreme,I am having a problem lining up the power steering,I moved the alternator to passenger side of car that works fine, but the alternator is lining up with the pulley that the powersteering pump is supposed to run off of. Can anybody help me?The car had a/c I eliminated it.

Your best bet was to use the water pump and all the pulleys from the 350.

Do you have the spacers in place for the power steering brackets?

Front spacer is approx. 3/4" and block side spacer is 1/2"

Start from the beginning. Which water pump did you use and which pulleys are you trying to use. The A/C pump is longer than the non-A/C pump, and using non-A/C brackets will cause a problem unless the pump, pulleys, and brackets are used as a matched set.
