2328 motor mounts

I have a pair of nos Borg Warner 2328 motor mounts to use on my sons 67 big block. They will not work on the frame pads we have. Can someone post a pic of the correct frame pads used with these mounts? I was told the pads we have are for the big block mounts but the tabs on the mounts prevent the holes from lining up.

Joe did a sticky on this a while back. This should answer your questions.

Once again, let's please stop calling them "big block" and "small block" mounts. For 1967 (and for model years 1965-1968) there was only one motor mount for ALL Olds engines in the A-body - the 2261 style. Don't change the frame pads, just get the correct mounts for your car.

This car came with a six and I had a set of early frame pads. I guess I will buy some of the early mounts to match up with them or buy the later style frame pads and use my 2328's.

Seems like i paid $3 bucks each for my 2261's at Advance Auto. I think they are Anchor brand. Not sure but they were really cheap as i remember.

Why? Unless you are a glutton for punishment, leave the frame pads in place and use the 2261 style mounts like Oldsmobile intended. Again, this is what the factory used on 1967 big block A-body cars.

Yup, something like that. They are regularly $3-something from RockAuto.

So use them on a car that needs them, like a 1969-72 442. Seems like a big waste to futz with the car just to use these here. Your time and money, your call.
