Sorry but the Chicago Cutlass rust bucket is neither a musclecar nor a Corvette.

Those are damn fine pics.

I think Angelo is writing me an article about MCACN for Thunder & Lightning but I'd like to borrow some of the H/O pics of yours for additional material, if you're good with getting some ink.

I was about to say the same thing about the maroon Toronado, then I noticed someone stuck another engine in it and realized what it was.

Absolutely, help yourself. The first black 73 was a V code and perfect. The Malaise Era display was a bit disappointing. I was hoping for a bigger turnout. I thought the Oldsmobile turnout seemed a bit light as well.

Awesome pics..love the barn finds or whatever term is used on the “ found as is”..the Rambler SC Scrambler is a car I would like to own..cool little hot rods..of course the early 60’s dodge cross ram twin 4 bbl wedge motors are just a very cool art deco piece of auto craftsmanship. I must go to this event next year..Nothing personal on the twin engine Toro, just doesn’t intrigue me..

So so many to comment on. Looks like you would need multiple days to see everything. Thank you so much for the effort and the posts.

What is the back story on this car? Love the dark blue stripes.

Same for this car.

Damn this must be one rare some b. W motor Canadian Pontiac?

This is probably my favorite Cougar of all time. Motor wheels are just the coolest early wheels.

The car is owned by James Kryta (sp?) of Inline Tube. He purchased the aluminum engine from an Olds engineer. This car did not originally come with the experimental aluminum engine.

Thank you for that information. I sure do like the dark blue stripes. Huge props for No Spoiler.

With all these non stock cars I always wonder why people don't use custom colors more often.

So the 72 321 (That's what we called them) is a survivor car? Beautiful car. The Camaro? 67 RS? So cool. L-79 Chevy ll - Nova also?

Those cars are untouched originals?

It's not a 1970 Hurst Oldsmobile! It is a custom built Oldsmobile done by Hurst!! Never was a factory production Hurst Oldsmobile period!! It is a one of none! Blast away !!

this is true. But I have to say.. this is truly a milestone in Olds History.

udos to all who kept this car running for all those years and especially in Chicago winters!!!!

Needs to be preserved and probably in the R.E. Olds Museum..

Wish I was able to see it in person.

Actually, it's one-of-one, along with a host of other cars Hurst built over the years, like the gold 1968 H/O convertible and some of the Hurst/Pontiacs.

Joe you know it's a custom car period!! Built by a famous designer !! Not a one -of-one! I am surprised that you even mentioned it as such! There are all kinds of custom cars built by other people. But because they are not famous their stuff isn't worth mentioning!
