I think it would be pretty gnarly to ride in my ragtop cutty after tweaking the dizzy I def feal it's what the motor wants . I think I will be cray cray to be rippin the pimp stick through the gears hopefully the tranny holds up and don't blow all over the road. Hopefully all this can be done before supper because I gotta get some rest to swap out that bump stick tommorow. ( I think I layed the sarcasm on pretty heavy )

This is my sons ragtop. His first car. The car was originally red with a white interior. We bought 2 more parts cars so we could make his black with black interior and quad bucket seats. After buying 3 car and selling off extra parts this car cost $850 to put together. We have about another ~$500 of parts left to sell.

He loves his ragtop and in spite of just buying a Porsche he will always have this car in his collection.

It has an automatic tranny and no dizzy.

I know some who did that to a Dodge Ram, but he was a bit sheepish about it. When word got round people flocked to see it.

What are you bleating on about now, Roger?

People will think ewe a New Zealander if you trot out such talk, or at least think you wooly-headed.

Boldsmobile that might be a little of all of us. I think we all made resoutions we haven't kept. So far we are still using ragtop and I haven't told people to F off as much as I should. I think this is part of being an adult . Damnit did I just grow up for a second there.

Hopefully checking out this thread because he finds it entertaining.
My local car club is about having fun as well as helping each other with their cars.

it wasnt the forums resolution, it was his own resolution.

I never make a resolution to stop doing something I don't do.

For example,

I will make a resolution this year to stop smoking. I don't smoke to begin with.

Feel free to tell me to F off

But that makes so much sense. I don't make New Years resolutions, period. I think the purpose behind the OPs creation of this thread was to vent, nothing more. Seems it stirred the pot of the hijack wutzit instead. I doubt he even monitors it now that it's spun off into the Twilight Zone.

I was just poking for fun Roger. Although I'm somewhat surprised at some of the inquiry's I get from time to time on my CL ads by some people who really can't
spell all that well. Not knocking anyone who can't, I use spell check myself. None quite as bad as my above post, but you get the gist.

I am only aware of the purpose he stated.

well...... merriam says: rag·top noun \-ˌtäp\ : a car with a roof that can be folded down

Jus' sayin', I don't call mine that, but am nonetheless unnannoyed whenif someone else do.
