2015 Car Craft Stret Nats

Ok, got here in Milwaukee on Wed 7/15 at the Wisc. State Fair RV Park. Nice RV park, but over priced. They are the only RV park within 25 miles of Milwaukee. So they got a captive audience. The only show in town, so a little pricey, however I am in the center of everything!

It is raining now Thursday night, but scattered rain on Friday. It is crazy with cars of all types. Should be even more crazy tomorrow!

Of course I took the F85 W31 to registration and drove around a little an as usual I heard " what kind of Chevelle is that ". Gezzzzs...............

Guys:
I still have all the registration papers from the 1987 CC Nats in Springfield when we took my 66 Cutlass there. It was a Long Slow drive w/ 4:10's in the rearend, we had just built the engine the week before. I hot lapped the I270 outerbelt a couple times before we left. The Big Block had good oil pressure, did not run hot and the alternator worked, what else do you need? I changed the oil when we got there and when we got back to Columbus, Ohio. One of the best trips we have ever taken in the Olds!!
Thanks, Ron

I still have a set of the plastic cups that were in the goodie bags from the 1981 CC Nats. That year they held several around the country. We attended the one in Sacramento and the one at Pomona.

OK guys just got back to the motor home at 6:00 PM.. Everyone was complaining of the "heat"! What heat? My Buddy called me yesterday and it was 108 degrees and 100% humidity in Florida where I live, now that is HEAT! lol lol LOL

Lots of neat cars. Place was pretty well packed. Met some really nice local car guys next to me. Having lots of fun doing the car thing! It ended up not raining which was good. Met some Olds guys and some even thanked me for bringing the F85 W31 out of hibernation, as I have not shown the car since 2012.

Going to meet Hairy Olds at Champps for lunch tomorrow, so looking forward to that!
