Planning to be there Saturday am. Primarily interested in making the cruise and of course checking out the fine rockets that will be on hand and putting some faces with screen names. Is there any problem signing up Saturday? I have a room @ the Hilton and hopefully trailer parking will be clearly marked.

There will already be a few trailers there from people rolling in Friday afternoon and night. We will have parking control people who will make sure you are taken care of and expedite you through the check in process if you have already not pre-registered. Thanks for coming.

Would be great to have you out there. Ted Paleski is bringing his dark Blue '66 tri power car that I remember you liked at the Sonic thing we did last year.

I am SO looking forward to this...I'm gonna visit all 3 days, as I live 17 miles away so,
look for the moonshiner looking Jerry Garcia wannabe guy with long dark hair and I big grey "duck" beard LOL. That should be easy. I have only met a few fellas at the earlier held Orphans and Sweethearts deal.

See ya there

Richard: Hope you can make it Saturday, after Pate. We leave on the cruise around 4 PM (down to Glen Rose), then end up at Bob Kaman's house/hanger at Pecan Plantation, out of Granbury. Gonna' be awesome!

We have 35 cars preregistered, and usually have at least a 25% bump to that number due to same day registrants. We should wind up with at least 50 cars on the field.

Rob, I'd go inside and ask where the Olds Club hospitality suite is. As mentioned above, look for Bob K or Aron or Juju and see if they would need any help. I'll be getting there myself between 3 and 4.

Oh Friday AM Fox4 Weather report....

Friday-KILLER
Saturday-Sunny but breezy, storms could develop after dark in our western counties. Hood county is SW of FtWorth for those that might not know BUT,,the South Western storm in spring is/could be problematic and unpredictable (being from Godey NE of Granbury and Hood Co. by one county, in Johnson Co.) So, Evan said, after dark and could go into Sunday AM IF....but still said western counties like Wise, Jack etc.

I personally have WAPP on my ipad and iPhone 5c so...I can be hired as The Weather Man,,,,j/k.

Oh I have decided today, Friday, to ride down/over there on my bike,,,,vrooom vroom, It's gonna be 80's clear and dang near perfect today. See ya there.

We hope to get away by noon. Will probably go to the square and knock around for a little while before we check in at the Hilton. Man I am looking forward to this. I have never had my 54 out on this long a road trip before so I am holding my breath about that and the weather. I think both will be fine.

There are about 35 registered right now and then who ever shows up tomorrow. Your more than welcome to join us, a lot of great people and some really nice cars. It's one of the few times that you get to see so many Oldsmobiles in one place. The weather is showing possibly some light rain for here early Sunday morning.

Got to see a few facing and some really nice cars. My daughter had a blast feeding longhorns and riding a horse. Had to leave in the middle of dinner. It was a 2 hour drive home. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Well it was a wonderful well planned gathering with a lot of sweet cars. The weather was great, little bit windy. Most participated in the cruise which was a pleasant drive thru the back roads between Granbury and Glen Rose. Almost all attended the fine barbque dinner at Bob's house. Hopefully Txrob will be able to post the pictures he took.

It was great seeing everyone and putting some faces with names.

Kudo's to the NTOC, the host families, and the organizers of this event. From the moment we rolled under the canopy to check in @ the hotel, a club member was there to offer help, provide information, and offer assistance in anyway needed. This was our first "organized" show/event of any kind and I am very pleased we chose to attend this one. It exceeded all of our expectations and was more fun than we had dared hope for.

It was great to meet the NTOC folks and to put some faces with the screen names here on O.C. A special shout out to (other) Eric who unknowingly convinced us to attend with his enthusiasm and patience in dealing with my many questions here, and via PM's.

Hope to see y'all in Fredericksburg!

I want to give a special thank to Eric, Aron and Heath for convincing me to attend. My wife and I had a great time. To us the highlight was the cruise followed by the outstanding dinner at Bob's hanger. What hospitality. As others have mentioned, it was good to put names on here with actual people. Important to me was the fact that my wife made several new friends and had a great time. We really felt welcome and just had a great time.

Richard, I am glad you and your daughter came. It was good to meet you have several years. Interesting that we live in the same city and have to go to another city 100 miles away to meet. I got a hoot of how you walked up to me when I was taking a picture of my car at the ranch and said "it would be pretty nice with a 502 big block and some 22" wheels on it". You almost had me for a moment.

Again, I know I have not mentioned everybody but I again want to say "Thank You" for putting on a very well organized event that was very enjoyable. I feel pretty sure we will be making the trip to Fredericksburg. This was kind of a shake down cruise for the 54 and all in all it did pretty well. I did have a pecking redevelop in the rockers on the left side of the engine but we got home okay.

The look on your face was priceless even for a few seconds after when I was ready to let you off the hook and said my name was Richard and it finally hit you who a was. Only thing that could have been better is if I had a secret camera rolling so I could play it back for you.

It was great to finally meet you and the car was gorgeous.
