Lightbulb 1977 442 Starter mounting to block

Hey Yall! I am a Newbie to the cutlass family for my birthday this year and its a 77 442 model with a 350 Rocket in it. My issue is where The starter bolts up to the block the guy that sold it to me didnt disclose he only had starter being held underneath by 1 bolt. He did not disclose a hole in block area where starter bolts up at all. But I'm being told by my mechanic here in MS area where I live that it can be fixed somehow where my starter will stay in place with a certain bracket peice so it will crank again. Any suggestions on where I can find one that will fit this motor?

Mines held by one bolt also on my 71 . I noticed it while replacing battery cables, and had the flywheel dust cover removed. There doesnt appear to be a boss for the 2nd bolt to attach to..but not certain where the piece went

Exclamation

Be aware the the starter bolts are special due to the knurling on the shank.

DO NOT use any other type of bolt.

You need to fix the problem ASAP or you could chew up the flexplate, which is a huge problem.
