Hard to say. That is a hot rod that has probably been rode pretty hard. many times. It depends on what you want. It will need a paint job and that will be $$$$.

Agreeing with Glenn on this one. It has definitely been modified for some hard driving by evidence of the floor shift, lower control arm modifications, etc. This could mean there are lots of hard miles on the car, or not, but at the very least would demand closer attention. As Vincetan suggested, if you are looking for something stock, clean, with moderate useage during it's lifetime forget about it.

I can't speak for the Omegas, but I have a 73 Apollo. These cars are essentially worthless. 8500 would be way underwater unless it had a 10k motor to go with it. If its a hatchback car I'd run even faster. Those are rattle traps!

That being said they are a neat little car to hot rod. Go beat the snot out of it, you won't ruin anything. clearly the current owner has the same train of thought. its a decent platform with all sorts of chassis parts available. The only hiccup is the rear steer box really limits header options for non SBC/LS engines.
