"1970 B-07 police optioned Delta" 442

I've been looking at this eBay listing for awhile but my research is going nowhere. Is a car such as this authentic? People are nitpicking about the details but no one seems to actually KNOW if this is legit.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1970-...a466a56a#v4-38

If it's a Delta then it's not a 442, no? Do any/all of the B07 pieces (assuming they're there) look accurate and complete?

Any info is appreciated. This car sort of jumped out at me (strange, I know, in a color like that) but won't entertain the thought any longer if this car isn't 100 percent like it's advertised.

Thanks in advance,

Drew

I think Kurt was the most help to me with this car when learning more about it.

It's a small world after all. I never thought to search the forums here for a car I found on eBay as this is the first "crossover" I've experienced.

As for the Qs, I didn't mean to imply dishonesty on your part or anything, I just wanted to get more info from those in-the-know here before I "bothered" you with questions.

[Though once I get my "list" together I'll may be doing that, too.]

She's a beaut. Texas is a little too far for me to check her out in person, so thanks for all the pics and vids.

Oh, and feel free to refuse, but can I know the ballpark of your reserve? I know you don't necessarily want to list it on eBay, but we're all friends HERE, right?...

One helluva looking Delta 88. There was a thread about a year ago about the Police packaged Delta 88s and speculation on which agencies used them. I think someone mentioned Minnesota State Police but no sure. Lots of heavy duty stuff in that car and pretty clean looking too.

They made about 1500 among all 3 Delta models and in a myriad of bodystyles.

The car is not a 442 and shouldn't be listed as one
Keyword spamming and using false or misleading information in the title is against Ebay's rules and they can stop the listing.

That IS one nice car, though.

Wish I was in a position to buy it.

LOL

Good luck to the seller in their sale. Ebay rules slightly broken = big deal.
His description immediately clarifies. We're all squirrels trying to get a nut.

Thank you for your opinion, I just did not think the Delta section was a fair market for a car like this.I really do not intend to offend any one here.

I believe the W-33 package is separate from the police package - mutually exclusive.

Someone on eBay mentioned Car and Driver's road test of the "Police Package 88" in their March 1970 issue. Well, here it is. Turns out I have an "archive" of just about every issue of every major car magazine since they invented paper boxed up in my basement. It's nice to actually use them for something other than holding the floor down... Enjoy!

Wow! That's actually really cool.

Not to sound critical, but is there any way you could rescan / repost them larger?
I can't read them .

Did you notice that it is a New York Police car. I can see that floor shift auto too.

I am sure you all know by now, and I am quite sure you are all sick of hearing about it. But this car is sold now.
