Fyi

200XXX series VIN is likely an A body engine. Measure the intake valve & see if it is 2.00" or 2.072" variety. Easy way to do this is to cut a piece of paper 2.0" long & lay it on the valve. If the valve is bigger you have your answer.

The more telling item is the exhaust manifold. Assuming it's original to the motor, that's an A-body manifold. In the 1970 model year, the full size cars still used passenger side manifold with the crossover port (like the SBOs). Unfortunately, that means the the motor could have come from a 442, a Vista Cruiser, or an SX.

valve size..

It "LOOKS" like those might be 2.00 valve heads but it could be the picture the 2.07s looks like the valves are almost touching each other not a big dwal either way, bigger valves can be fitted when you have the heads done or not . Anyway glad you found a motor

The heads look like they are the big valve to me. The machined out seat area for the valves touches or overlaps like that with the larger valves.

A couple of things I noticed that may or may not cloud the situation. The valve cover on the left side does not appear to be notched, so unless it was changed out it most likely did not come from an "A" body. The second thing is the exhaust manifold in the photo has the letter "Y" which is correct for the 1968 455CI. Hope this helps.

I don't see that it matters. You have a '70 455 that is what you need. What is the first number on the oil fill tube, if a "0" it is a '70. It has the "E" heads, big or small valve no big deal for a street cruiser.
By the time you go through it, it will be what you need.
It looks to be a great find. Who know what it has been through, and it is a great start.

Thanks for all of the input guys.

This is going to be my car and a street driver at that so 64 Rocket is right, the valve size doesn't really matter to me. I am just trying to get the build as close as I can. So having a 1970 455 with E heads was what I was looking for.

And, for what it's worth, the original car apparently had both A/C and power steering. You might know more about its original application when you remove the camshaft.
