1969 w32 on fb olds

I see this 1969 W32 on Olds Facebook site, looks very solid, supposedly original running gear and the guys got it priced at 32,000? I don’t know anything about a W32 I’m just surprised somebody hasn’t jumped on that car for that price.? Is there something about those cars I don’t know that holds the value down?

Not sure, but I dont think the seller has proof the car is actually a real W32. I'll have to go search for the ad

How about posting pictures of the car in question? That always helps.

PS: A W-32 is not the horsepower first car that a W-30 is. That is one factor.

The 1969 W32 was essentially a 350 HP manual trans 400 motor with O.A.I. bolted to a TH400 (regular AT 442s that year were only rated at 325 HP and got a milder cam). Among the most rare of the Olds W-cars (297 total built, 25 Sport Coupes, 25 convertibles, and 247 Holiday Coupes). Few people even know about them, as they were a late 1969 introduction and not publicized very much. Unfortunately also very easy to clone. If this is the one I'm thinking about, the seller claims to have full documentation.

Where are the pictures? Anyone? Anyone?

Old friend my mine and my brother has one. He has driven it on the Power Tour a couple times.

The lack of pictures or a link might have something to do with the fact that FB Marketplace continually outdoes themselves with coming up with the WORST search engine in the history of the interwebs. I thought I had saved that ad, but I cannot find it now. What a complete turd of a marketplace.

Here is a picture of the W32 I owned back in the 1970-80s. Sure wish I had it back. I sold the 69 Torino SCJ to buy it.
