1969 h/o

I finally have the H/O in my shop and up on stands. I pulled the back wheels off and they still have the push lock keepers on the drums. I believe it stills has original brake pads, just a bit of info. My question is this car is so original what do I do to fix things trans leak? Just pan I believe can I use after market rubber gasket same with differential. whats the right thing to do. I will have more questions tomorrow when I spend more time under it .

Brian, there a few places that can leak
besides the pan gasket.
Front or rear seals, trans shifter output
shaft has a small seal and also the oil fill
tube has an O-ring to seal at the trans too.
Also there is another O-ring at the speedo
gear housing that can weep or leak also.

Do you know where the rear is leaking?
Those pinion shaft seals can be a pain.

if you can get nos stuff use that. if not, your at the mercy of some of the crap made in china. just dont buy the cheap rebuild stuff. i dont know off hand of any specific tranny or rearend gasket/seal kits, someone will know though

The trans pan is the first leak I need to fix and see what else might also be leaking. it is the differential cover. This a true 98% original car can you tell me what type of gaskets would have been used on these 2 items. Or if it matters when having it judged
