1967 CS Vintage Air install air duct question

The evaporator install instructions says to stretch the duct material out. On my install, the air plenum has (4) 2.5" connections for ducts to connect to, 3 of the 4 ducts will need to be bent beyond 120 deg. to get them routed to the dash vents. How do you stretch the duct without causing it to kink or turn a hard right angle where it attaches to the evaporator plenum. It would seem to me a hard turn would cause a restriction in air flow through those 3 ducts.

I'm looking for guidance from someone who has done this before me. What was your solution or am I just being ****?

Thanks

I have never installed these into 67's but have done many street rod installations. The ductwork tubing has a stiff rib in it that prevents collaps when bending. As long as the connecting material isn't split, the round tube should be ok when bending. I have had to bend this stuff 180 degres and never had a problem.

I haven't "done it before you" so I guess you won't be interested in my reply, but I would lay the ducts out in the sun for a couple hours to make them more pliable.
