1966 f/85 rear Dash & parking lights
Hi Im having and issue with my dash & rear night lights... they dont turn on. When i turn on the switch for the headlights the front light turns on but the dash & rear dont turn on for some reason.. I checked all the fuses and they are all ok.. Now whats also wierd is that when you open the door the dome light turns on butwhen i close the door and try to turn the dome light with the switch it doesnt... im wondering if my actual switch is bad or is there something else i shoulf check??

Try this link 12 a, 12 b & 12 c all pertain to what you're looking at. I think it could be a fuse or your switch. If you have a voltmeter check for power on both sides of the fuses on tail, instrument and panel with engine running and lights on. If any of these is not getting power on both sides then it is a ground or the switch.

Dash and park/tail lights feed off the h/l switch thru fuses. Check the fuse block and see if one for INST LPS or TAIL is blown. Not just visual- use a test light across each clip and make sure the fuse is good.
Neutral start switch does not affect lighting.

Ok so I bought a new switch and now I have dome light. I check the fuses and they are all ok but I tested the fuse for the rear lights and there is no current going to that fuse for some reason and the fuse is good. Cause I took it out and tested. Now my question is why is there no current to that one fuse ??? Help
