1966-67 bbo q-jet divorced choke rod

Wondering if anyone can post a picture of the choke rod with a ruler next to it.I'm trying to fab one and need a general shape and length.If you don't have one thats off of vehicle can you post a picture of one attached?Thanks in advance Nick

That looks like a 66/67SBO choke stat. You can tell by the arm on the side of the stat, 66/67 BBO didn't have it.

Here's a picture of the stat that I know came from a 66 BBO. As you can see,there's no arm. In my experience,only the SBO stat had the arm. Paul,is that the original from your car or one you had restored?


I may have found the answer. The stat part # for a 66 4 V carb is 7036095 and the 67 stat part # is 7027094. This indicates that they changed the 67 stat to the adjustable unit. I guess all of the stats I have had were from 66's,my bad. The unit I have shown is for sale.
