1964 4-4-2 on eBay

Anyone know this car? Checks at least some of the legit boxes. Dealer description will give you a headache.

Yeah, it does pass the giggle test at least. I'm curious about the story behind the dent in the front part of the oil pan.

Forget it. I only want one if it has the rare Jetaway option.

No docs and asking & reserve prices are both $74,664. The '64 is from a lot of eight cars bought from a seller (estate, I think) in Chicago. An Olds guru is coming in from Michigan to authenticate all. Good luck on the '64.

75 grand for a 64. Yeah good luck with that. Yet another train jumper.

One of the 64 gurus caught that it's a Fremont built car. The CA. cars had a different air cleaner and valve cover that this one doesn't have.

Me neither. I posted it on the 64 B09 board on Facebook and Brian Benz caught it. It doesn't mean it's not real but when there are flags, gotta listen to those who know.

For a 64 that the seller wants 75 grand for it better be dead nuts on.

Cars SOLD in Calif required the closed PCV system. Cars built at Fremont but sold outside of CA did not require them.

The four real nice wheel well moldings are a big part of the value and expected appearance for a Cutlass, and nice to see.

Just my opinion but no way that car comes even close to 75 grand. I would be surprised at 35-40. Even 25k.
64's just don't pull that kind of money. Not in my eyes.
Hell you can't even verify it was born as a 442. Show me proof
