Hi Ken, '74 SSII 15 X 7 w/bolt-on's. I'm not sure if these are supposed to be the 2.5 or 3" deep, but I believe they had a different shaped hole for the valve stem.
4 black clips says Corvette Ralley wheel to me. Olds will have the integral springs around the entire circumference.
TR7377 is the Fusick PN, JJ439S is Year One PN for 3" trim rings...which is what you need for 15" SS2s
Humm...interesting.
Are you looking for OEM or something that will fit/function?
OEM youd need to source NOS or good used.
Ask Kevin if they are the multi-clip design. If so you should be fine.
Quite often the vette and velle resto market will lead the way when someone wants to tool up for a part. Fusick is likely selling a will fit with multi the multi-clip design?
Pictured here is typical of what I know to be 68-and up C3 15" rings. 4 of these spring clips per ring. You can see these clips when the rings are installed as they hug the outer diameter of the rim. This would be incorrect on anything other than a vette C3 Ralley wheel.
If you can not see these clips once mounted Id say you will be ok with the multi-clip designed will fits.
These two shots are of a 3" 78-79 Cutlass SS3 multi-clip trim ring I was running on 73 14" wheels.
Was able to view your pic's at work. The trim rings I have and the ones Fusick sells that are 15", has (4) horizontally placed clips about 90 degs apart. Also, the hole for valve stem has a different configuration.
Thats a Corvette trim ring. It could work for you but IMO isnt the right trim ring for an SS1,2,3. You should look for a good set of used rings. Several private parts dealers here in the classified section may be able to help. Try Evil Bay or Craigs List too.
Because the Vette repro industry usually leads GM reproductions followed by Camaro, Chevelle and GTO. And because they can. Or they are knock offs or will fits. Don't know as I haven't seen them in person. Fusick usually tries to do good. Call and ask one o the counter guys they are honest.
