Way to take a beautiful design and make it dog-*** ugly. Next time they should leave the styling to the professionals.

I kind of like it, something different - but not $7,000 different.

This ad has been making the rounds for the last month. The bastard child of a Cutlass and a Vista, with both cars now screwed up. Obviously it's being sold because the builder is in waaay over his head and can't figure out how to finish it. Don't expect quality metal work. Also, as is always the case with these constructs, no attention was paid to making the leading and trailing edges of the C-pillar match, which is why it looks like crap. (OK, that's ONE reason why...)

If I ever were to get into custom body work, I'd get a 67 flat wagon, and a 2 door and an el camino body. I'd take the front clip and front doors of the wagon, the rear quarters from the windows down of the wagon and the tailgate, and the bed of the El Camino and stitch them together. I would like to take the back window frame of the 2 door (maybe the 4 door would work instead) for the sail panel and the rear window. It would kind of look like the Chevy Avalanche's sail panels.

Oh well, another project I will never do.

IF it were completed it would be a bad@$$ car!

Definitely not worth $7k "as is" though.

I agree. I think that someone with some good fabricating skills could make this look really nice. The metal looks solid from the pics, but obviously sun damage to a lot of interior. Not a fan of the puny carb - looks like a monojet carb. WTH?? Not a $7K car at this stage as it's not even a runner.

I dunno. I think it'll just buff right out..... This is hardly any different than the OTHER offerings except this one is really rough.

AND THE GRAND PRIZE WINNER.....

Apparently, the Cadillac Sedan DeVille isn't 1 of 1. Still quite rare though.

That one looks weird with the vista top. Too bad Olds never offered a hardtop Custom Cruiser.

Yes, those were totally bad@$$!

I wonder if the Sedan DeVille pictured above has a clam-shell tailgate like the Oldsmobiles? Was that on the other full sized GM wagons from 71-76?
