I'm looking at 3 3/8"quad gauges as an option to install in the blank clock opening of my '68 442 and have a question about the ohms for the fuel sending unit. If I remember correctly, GM units are 0-90 ohms. The gauges I'm finding are 240/33 ohms.

The extent of my knowledge of electricity is to not take a bath with a toaster... Is there a variable that allows this gauge to function in my setup or do I need to rethink what I'm doing here?

 

There is no "simple way" to convert one resistance range to the other.

You may need to get a sender with the corresponding resistance range and install it.
