Post 1960 canceling cam?

Hi - on my 60 dynanic the turn signals function but fail to return to off position. Removed the steering wheel and the only thing on the bottom is the horn contact and a single roll pin sticking down. The pin is too thin to contact anything to cancel the signal so I"m assuming there is something that goes over the roll pin thats missing??? a small plastic tube?? any pictures or help would be appreciated THANKS- JOHN

Well- the pin is what does it. If it's like the 64 the pin had an offset in it, and I think it was a solid pin and not a roll pin. Possibly it's been replaced with wrong part?

thanks - after reading your reply I looked at the wheel again and believe you're correct. I believe the pin was replaced at some point either with one of a smaller diameter or in a slightly different position not allowing it to trip the springs. This is also bolstered by the fact there is a 1960 wheel on e-bay that ( in pictures ) seems to verify. now I have to play with it to find the propersize and or placement. Once again- thanks - John
