Electronic ignition?



Hi there,
can you tell me is this distributor electronic ignition?
Thank you.

(This might come up a few times I tried on the cell phone but looks like it did not work).

It is not an electronic ignition. It's a points style distributor with some aftermarket MSD brand parts added.

Some folks have used the points type distributors to trigger an electronic ignition amplifier which would most probably (but not always) be located somewhere in the engine compartment.

Thanks for that, yes I saw the MSD top thought it was electronic.
