70 olds 442 loosing 12v to ignition intermittently
Hi guy's Just installed my new Holley Sniper and Hyper spark system on my 1970 olds 442-w30 conv....Some how im loosing my 12-volt to the ignition system intermittently causing my car to cut off and back fire when it comes back on.. The pink wire from Holley is connected to the fuse bus to where i get a 12v reading in starting and run position...It typically does this on a hard acceleration....So i went ahead and hooked up the pink wire directly to the battery the system worked GREAT..... It also did this same problem with my regular points system....Suspect bas ignition switch....NEED HELP TO TROUBLE SHOOT PLEASE!!!
Check the coil connection, and plug wires, etc...and go here and post the config file.and get sniper help.

Found the problem. Break down is in the bus at the fire wall..So we ran the wire directly to the ignition switch and all is good now..Otherwise we would have had to take out the brake booster and stuff,so my mechanic opted to do this procedure...PS: This Sniper system is something else...This system runs so smooth and so responsive. I think i gained a little horse power too...I"ll comment on it later in a separate post..
